Reki Kyan, a high schooler, lives and breathes skateboarding. He frequents "S" - a dangerous, illicit underground skateboarding race held in a mine at night. In a crippling loss, Reki's arm breaks and his skateboard snaps, rendering him incapable of practicing his passion. While working, Reki meets his new classmate, Langa Hasegawa, a mixed race boy with no experience in skateboarding. Strapped for cash, Langa accompanies Reki to "S" on his boss's orders. Things go awry and the duo find themselves in a precarious situation, with Langa having to participate in a skateboarding race as a part of a bet. However, the new student holds a secret weapon unknown to Reki, which could change the outcome of the race in an unexpected way.
