The anime features a brand-new storyline that occurs 15 years after the events of the novel. The story is set in a fantasy theatre located in the bustling Harajuku neighborhood, called Hollywood Tokyo. The members of the group "Shonen Hollywood," who aspire to become idols, undergo extensive training and academic studies to perfect their skills.
