Following his one-year ban from Cyber Formula racing for cheating, Aoi Zip Formula competitor Jotaro Kaga (aka Bleed Kaga) returns to compete in the 17th Cyber Formula World Grand Prix. However, his former vehicle pales in comparison to the skill and Nu-Asurada AKF-0 ride of reigning champion Hayato Kazami. Suddenly, Kyoshiro Nagumo resurfaces and presents Kaga with the Ogre AN-21 prototype – a formidable racing machine from the creators of the Asurada's Bio-Computer operated Al-Zard series. Only a select few can handle the AN-21, and Kaga must now conquer his own personal obstacles to triumph over Hayato in what may be his greatest and final Cyber Formula season.
