The forthcoming season of The Young Imperial Guards.
Back in the heyday of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang commissioned the Jinyiwei commander, later establishing the north and south guards. These entities were granted ample authority to oversee hundreds of officials. Jinyiwei has been in existence for over a century, albeit with the north and south guards unable to cooperate. The Central Plain underwent foreign invasions, while Jianghu was rife with war and marauding bandits. Renowned thieves were also found across the land. A fledgling Jinyiwei, Yuan Xiaotang, son of the northern guard commander, Yuan Xiaozhi, witnessed the sudden changes taking place in the imperial city and resolved to prove his worth by achieving great feats.
