Yoshitoshi ABe's "The Nightmare of Fabrication" is a stunningly illustrated manga in full-color, comprising 18 pages. This short story can be located in the artbook "an omnipresence in wired 'lain.'" Interestingly, this bonus story doesn't seem to have any connection with either the anime or the PS game. While featuring characters from the PS game, including the psychiatrist, it also introduces determinant characters from the anime who were absent in the video game, such as Deus.
