Amid the ongoing Second Europa War between Gallia and the East Europan Imperial Alliance, the Nameless - a group of penal military personnel - are being hunted by both warring factions. Gallia deems them as rebels while the Empire has tagged them as a top-priority target, leaving the Nameless struggling to survive. Adding to their woes, Gusurg, their tank driver, defects to fight for the Empire. While liberating a small town from the Empire's clutches, the Nameless come across Isara Welkin, an injured tank driver from Gallia's Squad 7. Isara confides in Kurt Irving, the leader of the Nameless, that her squad is retreating after a botched raid and requests them to rescue them. This leaves the Nameless at a crossroads - whether to continue hiding or take on the risk of helping the country that branded them as traitors.
