The first love often creates a perplexing situation. Ritsu Onodera, working as a shoujo manga editor at Marukawa Publishing House, faces a myriad of challenges. The skilled Masamune Takano, who happens to be Ritsu's first love from middle school, imposes strict rules on him, making it arduous for Ritsu to execute his duties. Furthermore, Masamune desires to revive their past relationship, which complicates Ritsu's situation even more. Little do they know, there is another couple in the department, Yoshiyuki Katori and manga artist Chiaki Yoshino, dealing with their own tangled problems. However, Chiaki is oblivious to his friend Yuu Yanase's love for him, and Katori is left with the task of proving his affection.
