SUMMARY
In 1990, Tetsuro Amino, the renowned director of Macross 7 and SD Gundam's Counterattack, oversaw the production of SD Gundam Gaiden, a four-episode OVA series by Bandai. Set in the mystical realm of Suda Doaka, the anime showcases popular Gundam figures, such as Amuro Ray and Char Aznable, alongside fantasy-inspired mobile suits.
The show follows the valiant Knight Gundam and his companions as they defend Suda Doaka from the wicked forces of Satan Gundam and Sieg Zeon. A significant portion of the narrative takes place in the Kingdom of Lacroa, a familiar setting in various SD Gundam projects, including the 2003 SD Gundam Force TV series. Sadly, like other classic SD Gundam shows, SD Gundam Gaiden remains unavailable in the United States.
