Mei, Aiko, Asami, and Nagi gather at Mei's house to bake cookies. Nagi asks Yamato to leave, expecting a lengthy process. Soon after, Kai contacts Yamato and invites him to the park where they first connected. At the park, Yamato confesses his habit of adapting to please others, feeling like a chameleon. Meeting Mei made him realize his loneliness. Kai assures him that he's unique, and Yamato embraces Mei as they watch the sun set. Meanwhile, Kai encounters Megumi at the bus stop and praises her for remaining true to herself as a model. Megumi lashes out but later regrets her actions when Momo hints at her affection for Kai. Back at Mei's house, the cookies turn out beautifully, and Mei's mother ushers everyone out, allowing Yamato and Mei to take a romantic stroll hand in hand.
