There exists in this world a group of individuals who refer to themselves as "Majo" or "Magical Girls." They conceal their supernatural abilities for the purpose of integrating into society. They have coexisted harmoniously with humans for countless years, as their predecessors had done before them. Sasami was born with magical powers, but when she was just three years old, her parents instructed her never to use them. Henceforth, she kept them hidden. Sasami's life undergoes a drastic transformation with the introduction of Wajuu, a new teacher who transfers to her school on the first day of a new term.
