Ryouma Sakamoto is an avid rock 'n' roll enthusiast, wandering the streets with his electric guitar to demonstrate his equal mastery compared to the famed Shinsengumi idols his peers idolize. However, Japan's strict laws prohibit any music other than the prescribed Heaven's Songs, and deviants face severe consequences. Frustrated by this imposed confinement and indoctrination, Ryouma and his group, Shinsaku Takasugi and Kogoru Katsura, work tirelessly to locate venues for their performances, determined to spread the liberating message of rock 'n' roll. As they persist undeterred in their pursuit, the trio soon discover an unexpected depth to their passion.
