Remy is a girl who resides in a charming French town, accompanied by her affectionate mother. She exudes an attitude of merriment and kindness until her life takes a surprising turn when her father, who had been working in a distant city, arrives home and divulges that Remy is not their biological daughter. As if that isn't enough to bear, an unethical slave hunter nearly purchases Remy. Luckily, Vitalis, a roaming performer intervenes and rescues her.
