Upon inheriting the throne, he became the king of the Macedonians and embarked on a rapid conquest. Alexander eventually faced his destined adversary, Darius the Third, in a war against Persia. This conflict transformed Alexander into the diabolical figure he was prophesized to be and ensured the annihilation of all who stood in his way, including himself.
