The story tells of Prince Tang, who hailed from the Eastern lands and was born into a time of great turmoil which caused his country's downfall. While being raised in a border town by his nursemaid, he was trained for the purpose of restoring his nation to its former glory. His family was loyal to Xizitang, and when he turned eight, he was sent to Chuiyun Mountain to train. After ten years of intense training, Xizitang finally broke through the martial world and was able to ascend to the fairyland with the help of his ancestors' hammer, which was used by the god of martial arts. Fearless and determined, he vowed to bring peace to the continent by pacifying the Eight Immortals and destroying the Penglai Liberation Four. Despite being a junior among many immortal cultivators, Xizitang received a certificate of inferiority from the town's immortal list, which bestowed the title of Fanxian.
