Ukyo Rettsu, a surgeon, assumes the responsibility of treating an elderly woman who seems to have "cancer." However, instead of a tumor, the growth acts as an omen for an invasion from Japan's ancient demonic beings. To combat this menace, Ukyo must travel back in time and engage in a confrontation with the primordial demon tribe.
