The Black Cat Cafe can be found in the fifth ward of the Imperial Capital. After the war ended a few years ago, the advanced mechanical dolls, or Automata, that once had a mission have been restored and now sport stylish kimonos while working at the cafe. Even though they try to adjust to their new peaceful surroundings, their previous responsibilities continue to haunt them, leaving them unable to completely let go. One of the Automata employed at the Black Cat Cafe is Haizakura, who has recently been repaired but has lost her memories in the process. She is unfamiliar with her identity and role in this new world, but one thing she is sure of is her love for singing. With an insatiable curiosity and a talent for beautiful melodies, Haizakura and the other Automata join forces to find their new purpose, supporting each other no matter how challenging the journey becomes.
