An age-old prophecy speaks of a day when the elements of ice, lightning, and fire are stirred from their slumber. It is said that during such a time, Lugia, the mighty guardian of the sea, will emerge to bring peace and order back to the world. Gelardan, a Pokémon collector, is entranced by this prophecy and makes it his mission to capture Lugia by targeting the three elemental titans. As Gelardan springs into action, the world starts to suffer drastic weather anomalies, with violent storms wreaking havoc across the globe. One such storm diverts the airship carrying Pokémon trainers Satoshi, Kasumi, and Kenji to Earthia Island, where Satoshi learns about the ancient prophecy and his role as the chosen one destined to help Lugia restore balance to the world. Faced with the daunting task of saving the world from disarray and thwarting Gelardan's evil plans, Satoshi must muster the bravery and strength to tackle the chaos and avert disaster.
