Miu was captivated by the piano at a young age and embarked on lessons. At the beginning of the show, she's a reserved middle school student with little self-assurance. Her acquaintances describe her as "sweet" and "quiet." Despite being praised by others for her progress in piano, Miu doesn't believe she excels at anything, not even the instrument. Her instructor, Mr. Shirakawa, becomes agitated with her performance even though she flawlessly plays every note, because he can sense her lack of emotional involvement. Simultaneously, Miu has reached an age where she's interested in boys and has her eye on Kazuya Takahashi, an attractive student who has yet to notice her. This is Miu's tale.
