The Macross Frontier, a super-long-distance colonization fleet of the 25th New Macross Class, is on a quest in 2059 to find a new home in the galaxy, five decades after the Space War I documented in the first Macross story. Unfortunately, the journey is marred by an ongoing war with an enigmatic foe known as Vajra. Macross FB7 represents the 30-year commemoration of the Macross franchise.
