Humanity's birth rates are at an all-time low due to the devastating impact of the sun's intense radiation on the earth's environment. In this dire situation, the ruling government relies on a formidable army of cloned soldiers called the "Ideal Children (IC)" to maintain control over society. One day, Sam Coyne, a trader in the barren desert, meets Maya, a beautiful woman on the run from Theseus, a squad of ICs.
