The next season of Otoboku takes place two years later, following Mizuho's departure. Chihaya Mikado is now the main character, having missed a significant amount of school due to gender-based harassment and mistrust towards men. To solve this problem, Chihaya's mother sends him to Seio Girl's School - where she herself attended - and Chihaya assumes the guise of a girl named Chihaya Kisakinomiya. Upon arrival, Chihaya quickly becomes friends with Kaoruko Nanahara, who previously helped him out of a sticky situation. Chihaya adjusts to life in the dorms and attracts plenty of attention due to his good looks and impressive academic record.
