Based on the popular local book penned by the renowned Jeong Chae-bong, acclaimed for his touching and pure tales, the animated film is an adaptation. It centers around two young orphans, Gil-son, a five-year-old boy, and his blind sister Gam-i. Growing up under the care of a benevolent monk in a secluded temple located in Mt. Seorak, the siblings experience a wondrous world through Gil-son's innocent and lively character. He forges deep connections with all kinds of living beings and even communicates with the environment. Unfortunately, their world changes irrevocably after a fateful snow day.
