The Tower of Fang, a prestigious magic academy, witnessed a disastrous occurrence six years prior. It involved the enchanted sword Baltanders and Azali, a practitioner of magic. Unfortunately, Azali's inability to control the sword's powers resulted in her transformation into a terrifying dragon nicknamed Bloody August. Krilancelo, a young magician who deeply loved Azali, was disheartened to discover that the Tower's leaders showed no interest in saving her. Instead, they chose to disregard the tragedy. This indifference infuriated Krilancelo, causing him to vow to bring back Azali's human form. He abandoned his identity as Krilancelo, renaming himself Orphen and ceasing his magical studies at the Tower. From then on, Orphen traveled the world in search of a solution.
