Maya, the daughter of the former headmaster of Waldstein Academy, joins forces with Fumiaki Uchida, a time-traveling agent, in a tale set in a world overrun by extraterrestrial beings in 2012. In order to stop an impending apocalypse, time travelers are dispatched back to 1999 to eliminate the Nostradamus Key as predicted by prophecy. The story tracks Maya's comeback to the Academy, where she intends to take the reins as principal and demolish the institution, only to be stopped dead in her tracks when she meets Fumiaki. Despite their initial reservations, they strike up a pact and hunt for the Nostradamus Key using specially designed cell phones that project a tranquil world when a snapshot of an item of significance is taken while thinking about destroying it. They utilize the tool to scrutinize paranormal incidents in the area.
