Although only five students attend the remote Asahigaoka Branch School, every girl has already had numerous delightful experiences in the relaxed Japanese countryside. While some memories are unique to an individual, like Hotaru's recollections of her first day in Asahigaoka before making friends, others bring life to the otherwise uneventful town for Komari, Natsumi, Renge, and even Suguru.
