Continuing where season one left off, Arcadia is in turmoil following the sudden emergence of Thanatos and the disappearance of the Aube Hunters. Despite the Religious Organization's brave efforts to fight back, despair is looming. The Aube Hunters, previously revered, have fallen out of favor since the destruction of Hidamari mansion and the rise of Thanatos. However, the people are holding onto the hope that the Queen's Egg, the savior of the land, will return someday. Little do they realize, the Aube Hunters are patiently waiting for Angelique to awaken from her slumber, a secret known only to a select few.
