These contaminated territories were abandoned and became a prison for their inhabitants, whose powers mutated as a result. As a consequence, people with shape-shifting, gravity-controlling, or fire-wielding abilities were labeled as the "Needless." Adam Blade belonged to the Needless faction, possessing unmatched regenerative prowess and extraordinary strength. Together with his fellow fighters, he aimed to rescue a war-ravaged Japan from the grasp of the nefarious research organization Simeon and restore tranquility.
