The fifth season of Boku no Hero Academia features new animated episodes including: 1) Boku no Hero Academia: HLB (My Hero Academia: HLB) HLB, or Hero League of Baseball, is a unique baseball league founded by pro-heroes who share a love for the sport. On the championship game between Gang Orca and Shishido's rival agencies, they form a team called "Orcas" and "Lionels" to compete. Anything goes in this league, including the use of quirks, but before the game ends, a villain disrupts the momentum. Who will emerge victorious in the battle for the HLB title? 2) Boku no Hero Academia: Warae! Jigoku no You ni (My Hero Academia: Laugh! As if you are in hell) Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki are participants in an internship under the tutelage of the No. 1 hero, Endeavor. One of their current assignments is to track down a villain named "Smiley" who makes drawings around the city. However, the lack of urgency in their mission prompts them to entrust other pro-heroes to solve the case. Smiley gets bolder and draws a doodle on Endeavor's house, resulting in his wrath and the team's pursuit of the villain. But Smiley's quirk proves to be unknowningly powerful. He can make anyone who gazes into his eyes laugh uncontrollably, posing a more significant challenge to the team than they thought. Can they capture the villain and cease their laughter in time?
