The tranquility of the Forest is endangered as the malicious Darkness approaches, putting Mushiking in jeopardy. In order to save their beloved home and companion, the insects and fairies band together to battle their adversary, Adder. Nestled within the picturesque paradise of the Forest, reside the loved and treasured insects and fairies. Their harmony is disturbed when an outsider, Iron Stripe Stag-Beetle, challenges Mushiking to a duel. Just as the confrontation is about to commence, Blue Hercules Beetle, who is under Adder's spell, assaults Iron Stripe and Popo. Their comrades rush to their aid, but Adder deploys another manipulated beetle, Giraffe Stag-Beetle, leaving Mushiking to face the two formidable opponents by himself while simultaneously protecting his allies. Regrettably, despite his courage, he is incapable of triumphing over them and is subsequently apprehended by the scheming Adder.
