The Zanscare Empire followed the Principality of Zeon and the Crossbone Vanguard's patterns and punished the citizens of Side 2 with harshness. They frequently used a towering guillotine to execute the people publicly. Üso Ewin lived in Central Europe, and he was a space immigrant. He became a part of the League Militaire, a group of civilians infuriated by the Earth Federation's failure to fight against the tyrannical Zanscare Empire. As a psychic Newtype, Üso unlocked his innate potential, allowing him to operate the Victory Gundam, the only mobile suit that could fight against BESPA, the empire's elite forces. Üso was dedicated to protecting his comrade, Shakti Kareen, and locating his family within the Federation. He bravely battled the Victory Gundam to end the empire's brutal dominion.
