Despite the revealing of the Universal Century Charter, acknowledging the existence and rights of the Newtypes, the world's foundation remains largely unaltered. Known as the "Laplace Incident," the conflict was believed to have ended with the Sleeves, remnants of Neo Zeon, and two psycho-frame mobile suits to be sealed away from public knowledge forever. The black lion and white unicorn should have been forgotten. However, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03, missing for two years, is about to make a reappearance in the Earth Sphere. Its new form, the golden phoenix dubbed Phenex, will lead the charge.
