During U.C. 0079, a neutral space colony is attacked by a group of Zakus from the Principality of Zeon. Although hesitant, Amuro Ray takes control of the Gundam G40 prototype mobile suit to confront the danger, teaming up with respected Zeon pilot Char Aznable and his recognizable red Zaku II. This condensed animation is produced in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, endorsing the High Grade 1/144 scale Gundam G40 model kit.
