The Year A.G. 101 saw the arrival of an enigmatic foe, deemed the "unknown enemy" or "UE", who obliterated the space colony "Angel". This heinous act became legendary as "The Day the Angel Fell", signalling mankind's unyielding struggle for survival. A decade on in A.G. 108, the UE strike anew, this time on the Ovan colony, Flit Asuno's place of residence where he lived with his mother. In the ensuing fracas, Flit's mother is slain, and within her keepsakes - an item known as an "AGE Device" - he uncovers the schematics for the powerful weapon of yore known as "Gundam". Using these blueprints as his guide, Flit embarks on years of study in engineering at an Earth Federation institution located on the Nora colony, gearing towards the construction of the AGE-1 Gundam. Seven years down the road in A.G. 115, as the UE lay siege to Nora, Flit finally completes the Gundam, and commences the onset of his lineage's quest to pilot the AGE-1 - a quest aimed at safeguarding humanity.
