As a high school student, Taro Sado carries a covert secret that he's a masochist. Despite this, he manages to navigate daily life with the help of his cross-dressing best friend, Tatsukichi Hayama. However, Tatsukichi convinces Taro to seek out the Second Voluntary Club for assistance. After joining the club, they vow to "cure" him of his masochism. Nevertheless, Taro quickly discovers that he is not the only one grappling with issues. The other club members also have their own personal struggles to contend with. For instance, Mio Isurugi, the club's leader, views herself as a deity but is terrified of cats. On the other hand, Arashiko Yuuno has an extreme fear of men, and the club advisor, Michiru Onigawara, is a sadist who has a passion for cosplay. The other club members are equally quirky, such as Yumi Mamiya, who is an exceptional masseuse and Yuuno's closest ally. Additionally, Noa Hiiragi, the president of the invention club, is a member. Together, they learn about the value of acceptance and kindness.
