In Kyoto, the elegant and graceful maiko apprentices captivate audiences with their traditional dance and song performances. Mai Ichinose, Riko Kikuzuki, and Midori Aikawa share the same dream of becoming maiko and reside in a geisha house where they train together and form close bonds. However, their friendship is put to the test when they learn that only two maiko can participate in an upcoming festival. The three aspiring maiko become competitive to prove their worth, causing a rift in their once strong relationship. In the end, they must decide between pursuing their individual dreams or preserving their precious friendship.
