Miko Yotsuya's eyes welled up with tears as she focused intently on her phone screen. She ignored the terrible monsters that loomed in front of her, their unsettling words ringing out: "Can you see me?" As a high schooler, she used to enjoy horror movies as entertainment. But since one fateful day, she was the only one who knew about the invisible monsters that lurked among humans. Despite her fear, Miko bravely made a decision to never acknowledge the monsters' presence. However, she could still see how they troubled those around her, including her upbeat and charming best friend, Hana Yurikawa. To shield her loved ones from the monsters' menacing behavior, Miko persevered through school and avoided all troublesome situations, even when they left her in tears.
