Mei Ayazuki leads a mundane life until she's swept away to the Meiji Period by Charlie, who claims to be a magician, during a night when the full moon turns red. She's transported to an alternate era where apparitions are commonplace, and with Charlie by her side, she must navigate "Tokyo." Their ultimate destination is the Rokumeikan, where Mei will meet renowned historical figures like Ougai Mori, Shunsou Hishida, Otojirou Kawakami, Kyouka Izumi, Gorou Fujita, Yakumo Koizumi, and Tousuke Iwasaki. As Mei, the Tamayori, spends more time in this alternate world, she discovers that her ghost-seeing ability is highly coveted. Her interactions with the charming men whom she meets spur love, but she yearns for her own era. Mei desires to return, but she doesn't know if that's achievable. Can Mei ever return to her time, and what will happen to her seemingly steadfast love, which persists despite time and space?
