Episode 2 of an Anime series follows the adventures of Rockman as he traverses from the Game-World to the real world in Japan, seeking to learn about cultural differences. Originally intended as a special episode for the original Mega Man Cartoon Series by Ruby-Spears, the episode was completed before Ruby-Spears decided to overhaul the entire series with a new design better suited for American audiences. Being unfit for the new style, it was never included in the series. Later, two more episodes exploring the same story were produced, this time under the main title "Rockman." Unlike Episode 2, where he's referred to as Mega Man even in the Japanese dub, the series remained coherent in its naming. It's unclear whether these three episodes ever saw an official release until Capcom of Japan decided to finally release them on DVD in 2002, marking Rockman's 15th Anniversary. The DVDs featured both Japanese and English dubs but no subtitles. It remains unknown whether any more secret animated works exist in the original Rockman game-series.
