In the midst of fighting off the extraterrestrial entity called "Mimesis" five years prior, Goh Saruwatari, a Dannar pilot, encountered Anna Aoi. On their wedding day, a resurgence of the Mimesis caused a disturbance during their ceremony. While Goh combats the invasion, Anna happens upon a covert automaton dubbed the "Neo-Okusaer." Concentrating her efforts on protecting her betrothed, Anna utilizes the robot to serve as a final defense. Consequently, the Dannar and Neo-Okusaer amalgamate into a formidable entity known as "Godannar."
