Along with her two familiars, she grew increasingly disheartened by the war's devastating consequences. To restore order, Maria decided to use her magical abilities to mediate and end the conflict. However, her interference drew the attention of the divine realm, and she was confronted by the archangel Michael. He forbade Maria from using her powers and warned her that she would lose them if she lost her virginity. Despite the consequences, Maria refused to back down.
