Ten years in the past, the target of the Zakum - a wicked organization - was marked as the World Tree. In order to fight them, the human race banded together with warriors, magicians, archers, and thieves. The World Tree activated its self-destruct mechanism to safeguard itself, but the humans were wrongly blamed for the ensuing destruction. As a result, most of the races were left with nothing and fled to Maple Island, leaving those who stayed behind to perish. Over time, racial tensions led to a prolonged war on Maple Island. Fast forward a decade, and the main character, Al, is determined to resurrect the World Tree. Along with his friends, Al sets off on a journey to find the tree's seeds. However, the Zakum make a reappearance...
