Monkey Punch's works were showcased on "Crime Mate," an animated variety show that was broadcasted on WOWOW. The show consisted of 12 episodes that were aired from July 31, 2004 to June 25, 2005, with each episode lasting for 52 minutes. Additionally, a 15-minute bonus feature was exclusively released on the DVD. The episodes were divided into Mini Stage (15 minutes), Grand Stage (30 minutes), and scattered 60-second segments. Even though The Lupin Gang characters were seen in some of the 60-second segments, they didn't speak and relied solely on visual comedy. In the Mankatsu Monkey segments, a monkey only uttered the word "Mankatsu" and the characters from The Lupin Gang also made an appearance.
