A new academic year commences at Tanenashi High, where an apathetic freshman seeks a club that demands minimal exertion. One day, he discovers the magic clubroom where a captivating senior performs her spells. Her struggles with stage fright often lead to humorous mishaps. At first, he has no desire to join the club led by a bungling magician. Despite this, he finds himself becoming a member and confronting numerous uncomfortable situations as his eccentric instructor instructs him in the secrets of the trade.
