Shortly after returning to Tokyo, Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu convene at Tokyo Tower to discuss their desire to do something beneficial for Cephiro, the land Princess Emeraude cherished so deeply. In agreement, Umi and Fuu join Hikaru in this sentiment. Abruptly, a luminous entity materializes in the sky and they are instantaneously transported to Cephiro. Clef discloses to them that without a Pillar to maintain order, Cephiro has plunged into disarray. Monsters are breeding and the land is turning barren. The surviving inhabitants have relocated to a mystical fortress. Nevertheless, Clef informs the girls of a disturbing reality: three other nations, Chizeta, Fahren, and Autozam, are endeavoring to invade Cephiro and acquire the Pillar system for their own intents. The girls must impede the invaders, including the clandestine and nefarious Lady Debonair, who believes she is the lawful Pillar, while also relentlessly hoping and searching for a new Pillar to bring back Cephiro's allure.
