SUMMARY
When Daizaburo Edi-Ban, a Japanese-American, joins the 34th precinct in New York City, he's paired with John Estes, also called Sleepy or Mad Bull, depending on who you ask. Mad Bull's rough brand of justice often involves violence, including shotgun blasts aimed at petty thieves, even if they don't seem particularly dangerous. He's also been known to steal from prostitutes and cause property damage while fighting crime. Daizaburo and the rest of the precinct often take issue with Mad Bull's methods, but his actions ultimately serve a noble purpose, such as funding a clinic for venereal diseases and a shelter for abused women. As they face more complex challenges like drug-running and the mafia, they're joined by Lieutenant Perrine Valley. Inspired by the buddy cop films of the '70s and '80s, Mad Bull 34 is a show packed with action.
