Unlike most young boys, Kurogane Yaiba doesn't aspire to become a samurai. Instead, he trains rigorously with his father in the unfamiliar world of the forest. However, fate takes him to Japan where he encounters an entirely different way of life. Along the way, he meets the Mine family, the malicious Onimaru, and even the legendary Musashi. Through his perilous encounters, Kurogane Yaiba continually gains strength and grows as a person.
