This anime film trilogy adapts the Donten ni Warau Gaiden spinoff manga, with this being the first installment. After the traumatic battle against the "Orochi," Tenka Kumou has been left paralyzed from the waist down for a year. While a few members of the squad stay connected, Tenka has retreated into seclusion. As Sousei and Kiiko, along with his brothers, make efforts to reconnect with him, Tenka's previously undisclosed past is brought to light.
