Ichika Usami is a second-year middle school student who assists her family's cafe, Kirakira Patisserie. One day, she crosses paths with a proud lamb fairy named Pekorin, who discloses alarming news that wicked beings named Henteko have been stealing the heavenly energy known as "Kirakiraru" from confections and pastries. As a result, Ichika joins forces with four girls to form the Kirakira Precure a la Mode and fend off the Henteko while protecting all things sugary.
