Long ago, the great ruler Kyle of Orvelia defeated the demon king Angmund and restored peace to the land. However, after one hundred years, the demons have reappeared in the forests, posing a new threat to mankind. A search team goes to investigate, but only one returns alive. Meanwhile, Riheet, leader of a group of mercenaries composed of dark elves, intends to take over Orvelia as revenge against humans, who betrayed their kind centuries ago. As Kasel, a squire, sets out to rescue his missing friend Clause from the disastrous expedition, he meets Frey, a priestess. It soon becomes clear to Kasel that he is the son of the legendary King Kyle and the sole person capable of wielding the Holy Sword Aea, the very weapon that had defeated Angmund. To fulfill his destiny, Kasel embarks on a perilous mission of unsealing the sword, putting an end to the demons' reign of terror, and bringing hope back to humanity. As Kasel's quest and Riheet's vows interweave, what will become of these characters?
