Aruto Kirihara is a common high school student with a fascination for the Alice stories created by the mysterious author Alternite L. Tachyon from another dimension. One evening, as he was crafting his own version of a third book, he saw a girl floating before a beautiful full moon who resembled his mental picture of Alice. Intrigued, he tracked her to a library where he witnessed a fierce altercation between her and another girl in costume. This encounter served as Aruto's inadvertent introduction to the world of Alices—a special group of super-powered teenage girls who travel to an extra-dimensional Wonderland to steal one another's "hidden stories." Gathering all the enigmas produces the fabled third volume, "Eternal Alice," which will grant the possessor one wish. Despite his enthusiasm, Aruto is unable to transform into a magical girl like the Alices. Instead, it may be his younger sister, Kiraha, or even Arisu, the girl from his dreams, who ultimately receives the coveted prize.
